Fire Notes — Privacy Policy

Fire Notes ("the app") is built to keep your notes private. This page explains exactly what data the app touches and — just as importantly — what it never does.

What stays on your device

Your notes, checklists, scans, voice recordings, and drawings are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. Fire Notes does not operate any server, and the people who make Fire Notes cannot read, access, or receive your notes. Nothing is uploaded to us — there is nothing for us to see.

On-device features

• Camera — used only to scan paper documents into a note. Processed with Apple's on-device Vision framework; images never leave your device unless you choose to share or export them.
• Microphone & Speech Recognition — used for voice notes and dictation, transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech framework.
• Face ID / Touch ID — used only to lock the app or individual notes on your device. Biometric data is handled entirely by iOS and never reaches Fire Notes or its developer.
• Photo Library — used only when you choose to import a photo into a note, or save an exported clip back to your library.

iCloud (optional, coming soon)

If Fire Notes ever enables iCloud sync, it will sync your notes only to your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit — the same private storage your Photos and Notes app already use. Nobody at Fire Notes has access to that data.

Purchases

Fire Notes+ is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple's App Store and by RevenueCat, our subscription/purchase infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives only what's needed to validate your purchase (an anonymous device/purchase identifier and transaction data from Apple) — never your notes or personal content. See RevenueCat's own privacy policy for details on how they handle that data.

What we don't do

• No advertising or ad-tracking SDKs.
• No analytics that identify you personally.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
• No account or sign-up required to use the app.

Your rights

Because your notes never leave your device (or your own iCloud, if sync is enabled), deleting the app or a note deletes that data completely. There is no copy on our side to also delete.
